BREVARD FLAG FOOTBALL IS A RECREATIONAL LEAGUE. GAMES BEGIN JANUARY 2021 THRU FEBRUARY 2021 AND ARE PLAYED AT KELLY PARK WEST. ALL COACHES AND BOARD MEMBERS ARE VOLUNTEERS. WE WILL TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH COUNTY, STATE AND CDC GUIDELINES.
EARLY BIRD AND SIBLING DISCOUNTS ARE APPLIED AT CHECK OUT. (IF APPLICABLE)
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO ABIDE BY ALL RULES RELATED TO THE ABOVE FOR YOUR CHILD TO BE ALLOWED TO PLAY.
ALL COACHES AND ASSISTANT COACHES MUST FILL OUT A NEW (2021) COACH APPLICATION EACH SEASON. THERE IS A COPY ON THE WEBSITE UNDER DOCUMENTS.

IF YOU ARE NOT FINGERPRINTED ON FILE SPECIFICALLY WITH THE " BREVARD COUNTY PARK & REC DEPARTMENT" (THRU ANOTHER SPORT OR AFFILIATION – SCHOOL FINGERPRINTING DOES NOT COUNT) YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND GO IN PERSON TO BE FINGERPRINTED BEFORE YOU CAN PRACTICE OR WORK WITH THE KIDS. FINGERPRINTING IS FREE BUT YOU MUST GO IN PERSON. WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH NEW COACHES TO GET A MOBILE UNIT TO HAVE AT OUR COACH MEETING THIS YEAR SO WE APPRECIATE YOU MAKING THE APPOINTMENT AND TRIP THERE TO GET IT DONE.

We at Brevard Flag Football THANK YOU for another great season. We had over 350 players this year and hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
Thank you to all our volunteers, our coaches, timekeepers, referrees and all of the parents that helped get the kids to practices and games. We are all volunteers and our league can’t exist without the support of our communities and we appreciate you all.
Brevard Flag Football believes in paying it forward. 100% of our concession stand profits will be donated to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children. This year it raised $1,383! Thank you to Christa Casleton and the gang for running things and to all that supported our efforts!
We are looking for a new administrator help to coordinate our 2020 playing season. Skills required are MS Word and Excel, and we can teach you the online registration program. This person would print out the forms from the online programs, work with the board of directors in managing finances, registrations, insurance policies, and compliance with County requirements. Other duties include organizing the jersey order, and sending communications (mostly by email), collecting coach applications, creating and sending out the notice of registration postcards in August and having the flyers printed. It doesn’t require hundreds of hours but a few hours each week mostly between September and December. We really need a parent or 2 to become involved and help take this over. If it’s something you are interested in and can assist with, please contact CarolAnn Panzini at email@example.com for more information.

Registration for the 2020 playing season will open online September 1, 2019. Mark your calendar for the early bird discount for registering in the month of September.

THIS IS A REMINDER THAT ON WEEK NIGHTS THAT GAMES ARE SCHEDULED YOU MAY NOT PRACTICE ON THE FIELDS. THE FIELDS ARE RESERVED FOR THE TEAMS PLAYING GAMES THAT EVENING ONLY. PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE AND WITH YOUR COACH BEFORE HEADING TO PRACTICE ON ONE OF THE WEEK NIGHTS THAT GAMES ARE BEING PLAYED.

This should help alleviate the parking areas congestion while the games are turning over.
The 9:00 games are starting 15 minutes earlier at 8:45 am
The 10:15 games have been pushed 30 minutes later to 10:45 pm
The 12:00 games have been pushed 30 minutes later to 12:30 pm
Please do not block anyone in!
When parking in the North lot (Boat Overflow) please do not double park if you do not know the person that you would possibly be blocking in. If you do block someone, you possibly will be ticketed by the Sheriff’s department. If you park along N. Banana River Dr. and are blocking the sidewalk you will be ticketed by the Sheriff’s department and or possibly towed. We support ticketing and or towing for both of these issues.
If you cannot find a spot in the North lot, please park in the South lot, and or, the South lot overflow area (dirt parking lot). Please do not park in the road beside the fence entering or leaving the park on the South end or you will be ticketed by the Sheriff’s department and or possibly towed. When parking in the South Overflow please park side by side facing North or South and please do not block, move or interfere with the cones that will direct access to the parking along the back side.
If you require a handicap spot there are some located in front of the playground in the South Parking lot area. If you need other assistance with parking, please contact your coach who will speak to us about the request and we will do our best to assist you.
If you do not have another child playing in another time slot please try and exit the fields as quickly as possible.
Please be considerate of all while parking and we will all have a better experience enjoying watching our kids have fun and play.
